Sometimes electronic items fail, right? Even if they are brand new, they can fail. It happens. We, at Outrageous Audio, have the best warranty program in place period.
This is how we treat warranties and problems. You need to read and understand all of this!
Most stores never address this issue but we are going to handle it right up front. Also, this is why you should never buy from the internet. You will NOT get this type of service. Sure, you might find a better price but we take care of you!
We stand behind what we sell. And we deal with companies who stand behind us.

- We will guide you to the proper equipment, within your budget, to do what you want.
- We will match equipment properly to the limits of the gear.
- We will tell you up front what to expect from the gear you are purchasing.
Now, we will tell you it is not realistic to want an Amp and Subs that will hit hard for $100. We would rather tell you the truth than lie to you. Some other stores will sell you the $100 Amp and Subs combo and tell you they will hit hard. That is not reality. Every car is a different situation. EVERY CAR. We will guide you to the best gear at the best price to achieve your desired system. That is why we have been here for over 23 years.

We do not keep copies of your receipt. You must have your receipt for all of this to apply period! To give you the best price, we are not computerized on receipt data. You must keep your receipt.
We have a 7 day "Love It Or Bring It Back" warranty. You can bring the item back for a full in-store credit if you are not happy with what we installed or sold you provided you have the box and all of the original packaging. We have a no cash or credit card refund policy. If for any reason you are not happy, you have to let us know. We will make it right!
Warranty:Head Units (Stereos) & Amplifiers:
Head Units & Amplifiers have a 1 year warranty except for Kenwood "eXcelon" which have 2 year warranties from the purchase date. You are covered on parts and labor for 1 (or 2 for eXcelon) years if Outrageous Audio installs the unit. Dependent upon each manufacturer's policy we are required to send the unit in for repair or replacement if the unit is no longer current and was installed by Outrageous Audio. We will replace the unit one time if you buy the unit from Outrageous Audio and install it yourself if the unit goes bad(Note: The unit must still be current). We will offer you to upgrade to the newer unit if the unit is not current and has failed. Then we will deal with getting the problem unit fixed and selling it as a "Used Unit" to get you taken care of. We will always try to solve the problem NOW, to the best of our ability.Subwoofers:
All subwoofers we carry have a 1 year warranty against manufacturer's defect. This does not cover blown subs period. Subwoofers are like tires on your car. If you abuse them, you will have to buy new ones. We try our best to match each amp and sub properly. You are not covered if you thrash on the subs. Many companies offer a "Re-Cone"(only available on some brands) fee which is much less than buying a new sub. We, at Outrageous Audio, offer a "Re-Cone"(only available on some brands) fee which means we can replace the sub for the cost of having it rebuilt if you blow the sub up.Speakers:
All speakers we carry have a 1 year warranty against manufacturer's defect. This does not cover blown speakers period. You will have to buy new ones if you abuse them. We try our best to match each amp with the speakers properly. You are not covered if you thrash on the speakers. Many companies offer a "Re-Cone"(only available on some brands) fee which is much less than buying a new speaker. We, at Outrageous Audio, offer a "Re-Cone"(only available on some brands) fee which means we can replace the speaker for the cost of having it rebuilt if you blow the speaker.Alarms:
Most of our alarms have a LIFETIME warranty if current model. This covers parts and labor. It does not cover the remotes. Remote controls have a 90 day warranty. Many of the new remotes have LCD display screens, and are covered for 90 days. Remotes get crushed, damaged in pockets, etc. We offer replacement remotes on all systems.All other items:
Everything we sell has a guarantee. We will take care of you! We always have, and always will.Used Items or Items purchased from somewhere else:
We are glad to install old gear or something you bought from somewhere else but we cannot warranty this gear. We guarantee our install for LIFE. Many times we see old gear brought in or weird gear bought off of the internet and after we install it, it does not work. We are not responsible for the failure of the gear and you are still responsible for the installation of the gear. We see this over and over. People buy what they think is a "Good Deal" over the internet and then have us put it in and it does not work. Many stores will not install gear from any other store unless it is purchased from them. We will do it but remember if the gear fails or does not work you are still responsible for the installation costs. This is a horrible situation. That is why we recommend coming to our store before you buy anything off the internet. You might spend a few dollars more, but at least you have us (Outrageous Audio) that stands behind the product. You do not want to be caught in this nightmare situation. We see it every week.
We will not install any alarm system unless purchased from us. All of our alarm systems carry a lifetime warranty, so we will not install any alarm system we do not sell. Also, some items we will just say "NO". Some people ask ridiculous requests, such as putting subwoofers in a back deck of a car. We won't do it. We will not do it if it is not right. Sometimes people will tell us that "Other Stores" will do it? Well, go do it! We won't put it in unless it is right!
It is your responsibility to tell us if you are unhappy with something we sold you. We want you to be happy! It is your fault if you do not tell us. We will always make things right to the best of our ability.FINAL WORD:
The way we treat warranty issues compared to other stores.
After being in the car audio business for 23 years, this is how we treat warranty issues. If you have purchased something from us, and we installed the item, and it has failed. YOU ARE THE FIRST ONE at our store that is taken care of. You have already bought your item from us, and we put it in...you will be put in FRONT of everyone else. You will be taken care of first. You will not be scheduled out, you will not be pushed off as all of the other stores do on a slow day. We don't care if we have 25 cars in line for new installations, yours will go to the front of the line when it comes to warranty issues. This is unheard of in this business. But the way we feel is that you came to Outrageous Audio, bought something, and it failed. You already trusted us. You already spent your money with us. YOU ARE PRIORITY. All of my installers will stop what they are doing to handle YOU if you have a problem.No store does this. We do!
